Celebrating over 40 Years in the Wine Industry
Located on the Naramata Bench, D'Angelo Winery is family owned and operated. We produce 100% estate grown grapes and all of our wines are produced on-site. We focus on quality dry red and producing rare varieties such as Tempranillo and Montepulciano, but we also produce excellent whites and red fortified wines.
A dream became a reality over 40 years ago for Sal D'Angelo. The accomplished winemaker purchased a 50 acre plot of land in Amherstburg ON back in 1983. The search for land for a vineyard originally began in 1979 as Sal had an ambition to start his own winery. Sal then set his sights on BC and in 2001 when he purchased a plot of land on the Naramata Bench making Sal the first individual grower-vintner to produce wines in both Ontario and British Columbia.
